Cowan Studio is a multi-disciplinary practice offering services in residential garden design and seasonal cut flower arrangements. We help to create moments of beauty and ecologically rich outdoor spaces that are cohesive, functional, and designed to be lived in.

I am Allison Koll-Cowan, a licensed landscape architect in Pennsylvania (and Wyoming) with over a decade of experience designing gardens of all sizes. My background includes formal training in both landscape architecture and architecture, as well as ecological gardening. I’m also a mom, a creator, a gardener, a project manager, and a neighbor—roles that continually inform my work. I care deeply about the spaces where everyday life happens, and I bring a holistic, thoughtful approach to everything I design.

Whether creating a garden master plan, designing a small urban patio, supplementing an existing garden with native plants, or arranging seasonal flowers for a kitchen table, I approach each project with care, curiosity, and a strong aesthetic eye.
