Cowan Studio is a family business, led by Allison Koll-Cowan, a licensed landscape architect with over a decade of experience designing gardens of all sizes. Her background includes formal training in both landscape architecture and architecture, as well as ecological gardening. She is also a mom, a creator, a gardener, a project manager, and a neighbor—roles that continually inform her work. She cares deeply about the spaces where everyday life happens, and brings a holistic, thoughtful approach to everything she designs.
Whether creating a garden master plan, supplementing an existing garden with native plants, designing a new kitchen, bathroom, or small urban patio, or arranging seasonal flowers for a kitchen table, she approaches each project with care, curiosity, and a strong aesthetic eye.
